Love Me Beauty

Wednesday is beauty day – I just haven’t thought of a creative enough title yet.

My first post is focused on the Love Me Beauty subscription box, the March Edit, as I am a new subscriber.

A quick summary for those of you who are not familiar with this service. Love Me Beauty is a subscription service that provides you with beauty products to try. You chose the service plan that suits you best: a month, 3 months, 6 months. Dependant on the service plan you chose, equals how many ‘credits’ you get. Credits allow you to chose the products that interest you from that months ‘edit’, each product is worth a set amount of credits. Next, you fill your bag with your credit allowance, although you can top up and purchase more than your subscription allowance.

Love me Beauty costs £10 a month, plus £3 delivery. There are promo codes available . [MY CODE IS: EMILY1626242]

This months edit was mostly skincare based, with 16 products to chose from. An edit I enjoyed as a self-proclaimed skin care junkie. My subscription plan allows for me to have 60 credits to use. The items I chose are:

Caudalie Eye Cream 5ml – 20 credits and Caudalie Instant Detox Mask 15ml – 15 credits

The editor’s note claim that the eye cream will

Noticeably reducing dark circles over time, this energising eye cream is the thing we reach for to lift tired eyes on a morning.

Apply this morning and evening to the eye and lip contour. Sadly, in terms of credits, this eye cream was the most expensive and the smallest sample size.On the bright side this eye cream has arrived at a convenient time as my current eye serum, a no7 one, has ran out.

The instant detox mask comes in a 15ml squeeze tube. The editor’s note claim that

This award-winning formula is a Londoner’s saviour. Aimed at drawing out impurities caused by the city life, it treats damage caused by ageing free radicals to refine and tighten pores. Lightly scented with floral and herbal fragrances, it’s the perfect mid-week and weekend treat.’

Instructions say to apply a thing layer of this mask for 5-10 minutes, twice a week and to remove with a damp cloth.

I have never heard of Caudalie before Love Me Beauty. This is a skin care brand I am excited to test out.

Kore Beauty Mask – 10 credits

This is a simple sheet mask, with visual and written instructions on the reverse side.  This mask:

has been specially formulated for skin that has begun the ageing process. It can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines…it can help with stimulating cellular repair, boosting collagen and elastic and also can help improve skin tone.’

This Korean beauty mask contains ‘hydrogel’ that the Kore Beauty website states –

provides a much closer surface contact between the skin and the mask…without drying or irritating skin.’

Omorovicza Copper Peel 2x8ml – 15 credits

Despite being a self proclaimed skincare junkie I have steered clear of using face peels out of fear of aggravating my sensitive skin but once I saw this peel on Love Me Beauty designed to help improve uneven skin tone I couldn’t resist. I received a singular sample size, if you wish to purchase this it is pricer but comes with multiple tubes for repeated usage. This face peel claims that this foaming two-phase peel,

polishes and smooths complexion and visibly reduces pore size for a brighter, more even skin tone.’

So that is all for now folks. All the above items only cost me £6.95 including delivery as I used a promo code from SophDoesNails .

If you have used any of these products, comment and let me know and if you are interested to know how these products perform, keep an eye out for next Wednesday post!

In the meantime…

See you Sunday for Book Club !
